Jady Regard - owner and lead alligator guide at Bourbe Lake Hunting Club
Established in 1946, the Bourbe Lake Hunting Club is a 1,200 acre private hunting club that sits on the edge of Bourbe Lake, a 350 acre, private, deep-water cypress lake located in Lena, Louisiana. The property and Club have been in private ownership since 1969.
We offer guided alligator hunts and private hunting/fishing club memberships.
The lake and surrounding land provides hunting for wild alligators, ducks, deer, wild pig and squirrel. The lake is an ideal opportunity for bass, brim and sac-a-lait (white perch) fishing year around. The club also features an on-site 1,500 square foot camp that features a large and welcoming, screened-in porch, kitchen, living room with wood burning stone fireplace, central air, city water, on-demand hot water system, flat screen TV with satelite service, one full and one half-bath along with a spacious bunk room that sleeps 12 comfortably. Each Club member is outiftted with one permanent locker. The grounds feature an outdoor cooking area, a stone outdoor fire pit, wooden deck overlooking lake, fish cleaning and duck plucking area, on-site boat storage and private boat landing. Permanent duck blinds are located in lake and permanent deer stands, feeders and food plots are located on surrounding grounds (all within short four wheeler access).
If hunting or fishing is not your style, the club is the perfect getaway for a long weekend in the woods. Take advantage of maintained wooded trails, peaceful canoe trips, cracklin' fireside evenings, lazy afternoons shooting skeet and archery or enjoying a quiet day with a favorite book or pile of magazines.
