Bourbe Lake Hunting Club features a 1,500 square foot, on-site camp built over 50 years ago (circa 1946). The camp is simple, clean and a bit rustic. And we love it just this way! The camp features one spacious 12-bed bunk room, two bathrooms (one full and one half-bath), an updated kitchen, living room with a stone, wood-burning fire place and a spacious screened-in porch that doubles as a dinning hall and a generous gathering spot facing the lake. The custom cypress dinning table can accomodate up to 12 guests. The camp is equipped with satelite TV on flatscreen, city water, central air and an on-demand hot water system. The camp is built to be opened up and allow the outdoors in. It handles large crowds well while never feeling too big for a smaller, more intimate group gathering. Just a few feet from the camp is a generous size wooden deck that overlooks beautiful Bourbe Lake. And just to the side of the camp is a a stone outdoor fire pit with a never-ending supply of firewood. The camp is also equipped for grilling and outdoor cooking.
